Terms of Use

1. 01About Voleo

   Voleo is an app for keeping score in tennis, padel and pickleball, saving matches and statistics, and sharing results with friends. The service is provided by:

2. 02Eligibility and Your Account

   To create an account you must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You agree to:

   • keep your sign-in details confidential and your account secure;
   • choose a username that does not impersonate others, infringe anyone’s rights or contain offensive content;
   • tell us at contact@schantastic.com if you suspect misuse of your account.

   You can keep score without an account. The feed, statistics, profiles and friends require one.

3. 03Using Voleo

   You may use Voleo only for lawful, personal purposes. You may not:

   1. harass, threaten or impersonate other users, or use usernames or names that are offensive or misleading;
   2. add other people as guests or opponents against their will, or enter false results to discredit someone;
   3. collect data about other users, or access Voleo with bots, scripts or other automated means;
   4. interfere with, overload or circumvent the security of the app or our systems;
   5. copy, modify, decompile or redistribute the app except where the law expressly allows it.

   Violating these rules may result in removal of content or suspension or termination of your account.

4. 04Scores, Statistics and Health Features

   Voleo applies the scoring rules you select, but the score is only as accurate as the taps entered. Voleo is not an official scoring system for sanctioned competitions, and results and statistics in Voleo have no official standing.

   Heart rate and calories on Apple Watch are estimates provided by your device. Voleo is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Do not rely on it for health decisions; listen to your body and consult a doctor when in doubt.

   The Apple Watch app requires a paired iPhone with Voleo installed nearby. Features depend on your device, its operating system and an internet connection.

5. 05Your Content

   You retain all rights to the content you create in Voleo, such as your username, match results and the names you enter. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, process and display this content solely to operate Voleo — for example, to show your matches to the people allowed to see them under your privacy settings.

   You are responsible for the content you enter. In particular, only add names of guests who agree to it. We may remove content that violates these Terms or the law.

6. 06Voleo Pro

   Voleo is free to use. Scoring, saving matches, the feed and basic statistics will stay free. Voleo Pro is an optional paid subscription with additional features, which will be offered in the app.

   • Subscriptions are purchased and billed through the App Store or Google Play, at the price shown before purchase.
   • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
   • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. Your statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, remain unaffected.

7. 07Intellectual Property

   The Voleo app, the website, the Voleo name and logo and all related designs belong to schantastic e.U.. These Terms do not grant you any rights to them beyond using the app as intended.

8. 08Availability and Changes

   We work to keep Voleo available and reliable but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, add or remove features, especially to improve Voleo or to comply with legal requirements. Where a change materially affects paid features you are using, we will inform you in advance.

9. 09Ending Your Use

   You can stop using Voleo and delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms, provide false information or endanger other users; where reasonable, we will warn you first. Deleting your account does not end a subscription — please cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account.

10. 10Liability

    We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for personal injury. For slight negligence we are liable only for the breach of essential contractual obligations, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded. Liability for slight negligence is otherwise excluded, as is liability for lost data that could have been prevented by reasonable precautions.

    These limitations do not apply where mandatory law, in particular consumer protection law, provides otherwise.

11. 11Privacy

    Your use of Voleo is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we process and how you can control it.

12. 12Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms when Voleo or the law changes. We will announce significant changes in the app or by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you continue to use Voleo after that, the updated Terms apply; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.

13. 13Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live. If any provision of these Terms is invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
