VOLT
Your tennis and padel rating, from real matches
VOLT is your playing strength — one number per sport that shows how strong you play compared with the people you play. It counts not just whether you win, but how you play.
Not in the stores yet. Voleo launches soon.
VOLT — Features
A number that knows how you played.
01
Everyone starts at 1500
Tennis, padel and pickleball each have their own VOLT — being strong at tennis doesn't make you strong at pickleball.
02
Only the gap counts
200 points more is about a 76% chance to win, 400 more about 91%. A friend's profile shows your chance against them.
03
How you play counts too
Half of every rating is how many games you take, measured against what was expected. Lose narrowly to someone much stronger and you can even go up.
04
Upsets count more
Beat someone with a higher VOLT and you gain a lot; lose to someone lower and you lose a lot. The expected result moves little.
05
Fast at first, then steady
Your first 10 matches move the number quickly, so it finds your level. After that one bad evening won't undo a long history.
06
You decide who sees it
Whoever may see your stats sees your VOLT. Hide it in Settings and only you see it.
What counts for VOLT
- Matches against friends with an account who accepted the invitation
- Singles and doubles — doubles by each team's average
- A retirement counts a quarter
- Deleted matches are taken back out
- Corrected results are rated again
- Guests added by name have no VOLT
Most players land between 1000 and 2000; VOLT never goes below 100. It compares you with the people you actually play — it isn't an official rating like UTR, NTRP or a federation ranking, and there's no global ladder. Next to it, Court Time ranks the friends you follow by how much they played this month: matches count, not wins.
VOLT — FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is VOLT?
VOLT is Voleo's playing strength: one number per sport, starting at 1500, calculated from the matches you play against friends with an account. It counts both the result and how many games you took.
Is VOLT the same as UTR or NTRP?
No. VOLT compares you with the people you play in Voleo. It isn't an official rating and isn't connected to UTR, NTRP, Playtomic levels or any federation ranking.
How fast does my VOLT change?
Quickly in your first 10 matches, so it finds your level, then more calmly. Beating someone stronger moves it more than beating someone weaker.
Do matches against guests count?
No. Only matches where every player has an account and accepted the invitation count — nobody's VOLT changes without their consent.
Can I hide my VOLT?
Yes. Switch it off in Settings and only you see it. Otherwise it's visible to whoever may see your stats.
Is VOLT free?
Yes. VOLT is part of the free app. Voleo Pro adds deeper analysis such as rivalries and monthly recaps.
