Apple Watch

Keep score on your Apple Watch

Leave your phone in your bag. On Apple Watch the whole screen is the scoreboard — like a court from your own baseline, your points on the near half at the bottom, your opponent's across the net — for tennis, padel and pickleball.

Apple Watch Ultra while scoring: your opponent's 30 on top with your heart rate 148 beside it, your score 40 and 243 calories on the near half below, break point at 4–3 between them.

Apple Watch — Features

Designed for a wrist between two rallies.

  • 01

    Two halves, one tap

Tap your half or theirs. The numbers are big enough to read at arm's length, in sunlight.

  • 02

    Undo without hunting

Hold the band in the middle to take the last point back — or swipe to the cockpit and tap Undo.

  • 03

    Wrist Mode

On Apple Watch Series 9, Ultra 2 and later, a Double Tap of your fingers scores your point; on Ultra, the Action button scores theirs — hands-free.

  • 04

    Feel the score

Distinct haptics for game, set and match, so you know what happened without looking down.

  • 05

    Heart rate and calories

Measured during the match and saved to Apple Health as a workout — only with your permission.

  • 06

    On your watch face

A complication shows the live score, and the always-on display keeps it readable with your wrist down.

What the Apple Watch app does

  • Start a match: sport, format, opponent
  • Score points for either side
  • Undo the last point
  • See serve, sets and match time
  • Pause, resume or retire
  • Save the match as a workout in Apple Health

The watch passes every tap to your iPhone nearby, which keeps the score — so keep it in your bag. Requires watchOS 10 or later. The watch app is currently being tested on real hardware ahead of release.

Apple Watch — FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can I keep tennis score on Apple Watch?

Yes. Voleo's watch app turns the whole screen into a scoreboard — tap your half or theirs — and works for tennis, padel and pickleball.

Do I need my iPhone with me?

Yes. The watch passes every tap to your iPhone, which keeps the score, so keep it nearby — in your bag on court is fine.

Which Apple Watch models are supported?

Any Apple Watch running watchOS 10 or later. Double Tap scoring needs Apple Watch Series 9, Ultra 2 or later.

Does Voleo save my match to Apple Health?

If you allow it, the match is saved as a workout with heart rate and active calories. Without permission nothing is measured and scoring works the same.

When is the Apple Watch app available?

It's built and being tested on real hardware. It ships once it scores as reliably on the wrist as it does on iPhone.
